Should I Prepay My Funeral Expenses?

It is down to each individual’s situation whether they should prepay their funeral expenses. However, from past experienced of our customers, they have found it to be a much less stressful time if they have arranged and paid for the funeral in advance. It gives family and friends time to focus on other things around the time of a loved one passing. We have three options to choose from:

The Simple Plan

This is the lowest cost option for those on a lower budget, or for the planning of a last-minute funeral. The simple plan includes the essentials and considers any third-party costs that need to be added.

The Traditional Plan

Adding on from the previous option, the tradition plan includes a limousine and higher quality coffin on top of the essentials.

The Exclusive Plan

Our final option is the exclusive plan and comes with the most benefits. Including two limousines and a choice of a superior coffin style.

You can ask our funeral directors for more details on our plans, such as each coffin option we have here at Albert E Hicks. We can offer complete support and talk you through all the options you have, to make the day a true reflection of the person it is being planned for. The pricing of these prepayment funeral plans may vary, so it is best to call our team on 01633 259225 to get a more accurate idea of how much the funeral is going to cost.

What Age Should I start a Funeral Plan?

You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to start a funeral plan, but not many people consider starting the planning for this until they are around 60 or 70 years old. This, of course, depends on your circumstances but there is no real pressure to start one earlier than you feel you need to. One of the reasons people make a funeral plan is to save the stress of their family and friends after they have passed, or if you are planning for someone else you may want to have one ready as a just-in-case option.

Fixed Monthly Security

You can rely on Albert E Hicks to provide fixed monthly security on your funeral payments towards your plan. Whether you are planning for yourself, a family member, or a friend, we offer full support throughout the process before and after the funeral. Our friendly team at Albert E Hicks can answer any questions you may have, so call us today on 01633 259225
